Bina Rescued

Bina*, a 16-year-old girl, was rescued by Freedom Firm and local police in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh.

She was trafficked by her brother-in-law from Rajasthan after she completed her 9th standard (the equivalent of 8th grade). She was trapped in prostitution for four months before being identified as a minor by Freedom Firm’s investigation team.

An F.I.R has been filed against the brothel keeper under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POSCO), Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act (ITPA), and Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Bina is currently placed in a government shelter home where we hope she will begin her journey to restoration
