Last week, girls in a shelter home attended a session about legal protection, and rights for children who had experienced sexual offenses in India. The girls learned how to report cases of abuse. The session inspired a lot of interest, and provoked a lengthy discussion which continued past the time the session was scheduled to end. The social workers decided to come back and continue the session this week.
After another serious session on laws and acts this week, the girls did something fun and creative. A group of local ladies taught them how to make woolen crafts.
