In a shelter home in Madhya Pradesh, 18 girls participated in a session on peer pressure and negotiation. Nitendri, a Freedom Firm social worker, gave examples from her own life when she made wrong decisions because of pressure from her peers.
After the lesson, the girls sat in a circle and learned how to measure and cut out of a top from newspaper. Each girl took their own sheet of paper and cut our neat designs. They can't wait to cut fabric in the next session!
